Nigerian Food Is Simply The Best There Is!! Yep I said It!!
Listen, have you ever heard of nigerian dishes? if not, buckle up!! I am about to tell you about how awesome and tatsy it gets. Nigeria is home to so many different cultural groups and as a result, we have so many variations in meals and delicious recipes. Today, I would love to share with you the ultimate snack called Meat pie and i would be showing you how to make this stuffed crusty pie.
LIST OF INGREDIENTS YOU NEED:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cups of floor
- 26 tbsps butter
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cube seasoning
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 tbsps veg oil
- 1 egg
- 1 chooped onion
- 2 cups water
- 1 potatoe and 1 carrot cubed
Now that we know what ingredients we need, let us get cooking now. Shall we?
- First things first, we'll make the dough. in a large bowl, combine all your dry ingredients and butter. mix until all flaky
- Next, add a little water as you mix until a solid dough ball is formed. set aside and move on to our filling
- for the filling,brown the ground beef and bring it to cook well
- Add cubed carrot and potatoe and a little bit of beef broth and let it cook for about 15min
- By the time you are finished with the stuffing, your dough should look something like the picture below. Place the stuffing aside and and begin cutting the dough
As we cut the dough, preheat the oven to 350 degree farenheit. Using a rounded cutter, cut sound circles the kneeded dough and place your stuffing on the middle section.
Close the dough to make half moon shapes. using the egg, brush over the top and close the sides with a fork. Set all pies on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes
